The saw palmetto hair loss products reviewed on this page will allow you find out compare this method to treat genetic hair loss.
DHT (dihydrotestosterone) has been directly linked to androgenetic alopecia - a type of hair loss that can affect both men and women. Saw palmetto (along with other active ingredients used in these products) is a DHT inhibitor.
DHT inhibitors are designed to work by blocking DHT production which then causes androgenetic alopecia to slow or even stop. Given that DHT inhibitors might be able to arrest this condition as soon as you first notice it, all these products could also be considered as hair loss prevention products.

What I find interesting about this is that, all these saw palmetto hair loss products (including Procerin) have very similar ingredients. As well as Saw palmetto, they all combine active ingredients taken from the following list -
Zinc (sulphate or acetate) B vitamins (e.g., Biotin and vitamin B6) Fatty acids (e.g., Omega 3 and 6) Azelaic acid Nettle extract Grapeseed (Proanthocyanidins) extract
Therefore, it should follow that many of Procerin’s ingredients will also be of benefit to women with androgenetic alopecia (even though these products are promoted specifically for men).
You can find out more about the ingredients in all these saw palmetto hair loss products by using the link each one has to its own page.
Also note that other Saw palmetto hair loss products such as conditioners have been omitted from this review page to keep things simple.
A Top Hair Loss Remedy?
All these DHT hair loss products use topical lotions, shampoos, supplements or a combination to reduce the concentration within your scalp of DHT - a substance known to be connected with androgenetic alopecia.
This is the same type of hair loss I suffered from, but I preferred to use a more hands-on approach instead. The techniques I used were safe, natural, needed no lotions or pills, and were extremely effective as you can see for yourself:
