Hair transplant procedures Today, hair transplant centers offer many different types of procedure:

A hair transplant is a minor form of surgery in which you become entirely reliant upon the skill of the surgeon involved from the hair transplant center you select. So, it's vital that you research and consider thoroughly before choosing the type of procedure, the hair transplant center, and the surgeon who will perform the operation on you. The results you get must last you a lifetime! It is, therefore, extremely important to find out everything you can first (including both surgical and non-surgical options). To help you select a hair transplant surgeon (who has had excellent results before and can prove it) ask consultants at the hair transplant center these questions: 1. Can the hair transplant center surgeons do large (5 hour) sessions of micro follicular unit hair transplantation? 2. Is hair restoration the main focus of the hair transplant center? 3. How many patients have had excellent results through this surgeon? 4. Can they provide several before and after photograph from previous patients? 5. Do they have any satisfied customers willing to speak or meet with you? How much do hair transplant centers charge? The various types of procedure available will each have a cost that reflects the complexity of the operation, the number of grafts to be performed, and the length of time involved. The average price per graft is $6. This gives a price tag for a standard micro-graft operation of 1500 grafts as US$9000 (that's £5000). Follicular unit extraction (FUE) is more expensive - prices start at about US$4700 (£2,500) for a 500 graft operation. This means that the equivalent cost for 1500 grafts is approximately US$14,000 (or £7500). The price will also vary between hair transplant centers. Finally, you may also need to have further surgical sessions, which will obviously multiply the costs involved. Whether or not you'll need further operations depends upon the type of procedure you have, and the extent of your hair loss (both now and in the future). Other hair transplant center considerations
Also, if your existing hair does continue to fall, and you do need one (or more) operations, it might be difficult or impractical to collect enough hair tissue with which to do so. Furthermore, the scarring from one or more operations might also become impossible to cover up. Hair transplants are only really suitable for those who already have severe hair loss, but still have enough healthy hair remaining at the back to successfully harvest sufficient grafts. Of course, many people in this situation may have accepted their "fate" by then - often it's the initial and rapid hair loss (and the traumatic experience that goes with it) that most people want to address. Will it hurt?
Complaints to hair transplant centers Complaints about hair transplants usually occur because client's expectations are far too high. This places great emphasis on the need to ask the surgeon exactly what results can be achieved in your particular case. Hair transplants can't give you any more hair. They can only redistribute the hair you've already got. Hair transplants are not for everyone Obviously, everyone's different, as is their attitude to risk. But, for me personally, I've never felt comfortable with the idea of hair transplants. Apart from the extremely high cost and lengthy operations, the whole process is, of course, totally unnatural. For a complex problem like hair loss, you should obviously try to find a more affordable, less extreme solution first. This is the approach I have, and it resulted in an extremely satisfactory outcome - The Top Hair Loss Remedy is totally safe, natural and cost-free, and it can also be used by anyone (even if your hair loss is in its early stages).
